Cape Town - South Africa's Richards Bay Coal Terminal was on track to export more than 70 million tonnes of coal this year, up from 68.3 million tonnes the previous year, a senior official said on Tuesday.
“Our focus is 72-73 million tonnes and the way it is pumping, the consistency in the system, we are confident we can get it,” Nosipho Damasane, chief executive at Africa's largest coal terminal, told Reuters on the sidelines of a ports conference in Cape Town. - Reuters
