Bishops crowned inaugural SA Schools T20 champions with dominant victory over St David’s

Bishops triumphed in the inaugural SA Schools T20 Championship, defeating St David's of Johannesburg by a commanding 99 runs in the final at the Tuks Oval in Pretoria. After a solid but challenging batting performance, Bishops posted a competitive 168/7, with key contributions from Litha Mbiko and Michael Kruiskamp. In response, St David's were bowled out for a mere 69 runs in just 12. 2 overs, as Julian Pilkington (3/12) led the way with a match-winning spell. Pilkington was named Player of the Match, while Adnaan Lagadien and James Ross-Quinlan received individual tournament accolades.
