The popular radio presenter, known for his creative traffic updates, recently proposed to his long-term partner in a romantic gesture that has left fans and friends swooning.
He co-hosts the #5Drive show alongside his amazing team with Yanga Mjoli, ShabzMadallion, Jude Van Wyk and Masego Tshimoyaone.
Archibald and his team have found a captivating way for listeners to get the traffic bulletin with their “Tuesday Traffic Challenge” segment by rapping out the traffic updates to the beats of popular songs such as Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and South African rapper Emtee’s “Roll Up”.
But Archibald’s creative talents are not limited to the airwaves.
Recently, he swept his long-term partner, Megan Attridge, off her feet by proposing to her in a stunning setting. The romantic gesture took place at Stanford Lake College, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.
In an exclusive interview with TshisaLIVE, Archibald revealed that his love story with his fiance began 12 years ago on a school trip to the very same Stanford Lake College.
He also shared how their 12-year journey has been full of love, support, care and nurturing. It was only fitting that he would take her back to the place where it all started to pop the question.
The 5FM presenter shared the exciting news with his followers on Instagram, posting pictures of the special moment with a heartfelt caption:
“28/03/2025 One eventful Friday evening! We went back to where our story first began and started the next chapter”.
His co-hosts and team members also took to the comment section to congratulate him in the comments, with Potelwa and others sending love and well-wishes to the happy couple.
