International R&B musician Summer Walker is finally headed to the Motherland, no fugazi!
In October, Walker will be headlining the popular music festival, Rocking the Daisies Cape Town.
Festival organisers Steyn Entertainment announced the good news on social media; “IT’S HAPPENING 🚨

“✨ @summerwalker is headlining Rocking the Daisies 2025 ✨
“You’ve streamed the albums, cried to the lyrics, and now it’s time to experience it LIVE. This is history in the making.”
The “Girls Need Love” hitmaker also posted that she would be performing in the country, confirming the news.
Last year, Walker fans in South Africa were almost scammed after a suspicious music festival “Tomorrow Can Wait”, popped up.
The fake festival was advertised as taking place at Legends Adventure Farm & MX Track in April 2025 and had a list of exciting international acts, including Walker, Lauryn Hill, Gunna, and Teddy Swims, who were said to be performing at the event.
After seeing that her name was trending at a suspected scam hashtag, Walker took to the social media app to clarify things.
“I was not booked to be at Tomorrow Can Wait Fest, it’s fake but I can't wait to come to South Africa for real. ‘Heart of a Woman’ video is out now,” she said.
X detectives quickly got to work and discovered that the email address posted on the supposedly festival’s Instagram page belonged to a graphic designer.
Now things have aligned and Walker will be performing in Mzansi during Rocking The Daises Cape Town October 2 -5 at Cloof Wine Estate.
