Disney+ announced that the Original unscripted series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has been renewed for 20 additional episodes with the first instalment landing in 2025.

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” introduces viewers to the rocky world of TikTok content creators: Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews and Whitney Leavitt.

The new 20 episodes will finally answer the burning question of whether MomTok survived all the drama for the aftermath of the headline swinging sex scandal and the breakdown of the sisterhood.

Season sees the group divided: Team Taylor and Team Whitney - with Whitney eventually exiting the group chat after being confronted about her behaviour. Upon her return from living in Hawaii, Whitney wants to get MomTok back on track and focused on what it’s really about, but her ways are questionable.

Whitney isn't the only one with drama, Taylor’s rocky relationship with her new boyfriend following the divorce from her husband, is the size of a Stanley cup.

Based in Utah, the women are content creators who have a goal of coming together and supporting each other, have soda (Mormons don’t drink alcohol). MomTok benefits all the creators but trouble is always arising among them.

The marriages of these women are put in the spotlight, on the show. A trip to Las Vegas and divorce celebrations at Chippendale in Las Vegas show the cracks of one of the wives’ marriage Jen who happens to be Ben Affleck’s second cousin.

The series is produced by Jeff Jenkins Productions (“Bling Empire,” “The McBee Dynasty” and “My Unorthodox Life”), in association with 3BMG and Walt Disney Television Alternative.
