Music sensation, Oscar Mbo, real name Oscar Mbongeni Ndlovu, has apologised to Limpopo’s Lekompo rising star Kharishma, for forcibly removing her on stage while performing.
The incident which has caused outrage on social media platforms occurred at the Blouberg Spring Annual festival, held at Senwabarwana Stadium in Limpopo, on Saturday, September 28.
On the line-up to entertain the crowd with their electrifying performances was Oscar Mbo, the ‘Yes God’ hitmaker and Melita Mogale, popularly known as Kharishma, among other artists.
Kharishma, who is known for her smash Lekompo song titled ‘Matome,” took to Facebook and penned an emotional post on how she was removed from the stage while performing.
While she was on stage doing what she is capable of, and showcasing her singing talent, her shining moment was marred by an unsettling incident.
“Ntwe le ndileng yona blouberg Festival ake rate and nkase kgomolele,” she captioned her post, followed by a string of heartbroken hearts and crying faces of emojis, showing how devastated she was.
Her post translates to, ”What they did to me at the Blouberg Spring Annual festival, I don’t like it and I won’t stop talking about it.”

However, in a separate post, she wrote that she was forcibly removed from the stage while performing by Oscar Mbo.
“Lege ba ntlushitse staging bo mang mang💔💔
Mara le bona ba boni gore ma bosso o fihlile🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” she wrote.
Kharishma’s post translates to, “Even though they removed me from the stage, by so and so (Referring to Oscar Mbo). But they also noticed that I, the boss, had arrived.”
The Lekompo music genre, which Kharishma is currently associated with, is topping the music charts, and taking the music industry by storm, with many artists securing bookings almost every week.
Lekompo, is an upcoming music genre emanating from Limpopo, with its distinct home-made sound and electrifying beats.
Following her posts which sparked debate on social media platforms, Kharishma’s fans rallied around her and demanded an apology from Oscar Mbo.
Popular Limpopo music producer, DJ Call Me, real name, Aubrey Lebese, who was on the line-up, commented and said “Go bone nna Nfanaka I’m very sorry 😞 Bafe Modimo.”
His comment translate to: “I saw that my friend, I’m very sorry 😔, Give them to God.”
“Watseba re nyamile kudu💔💔😭, translate to “We are deeply disappointed,” said popular TikTok entertainer Malope Mokwana, aka Smonamonane Ntwa Swikiri.
Meanwhile, following the social media uproar, Oscar Mbo expressed his apologies to the comment section of Kharishma’s post
“Apologies to you my sister,” he wrote.
He blamed the promoter of the event for his actions.
“The communication we had with the promoter of the event and the change of times was clearly not communicated.
“We were booked for three events and they were all done by one promoter, they changed times on one show and it affected all three shows.”
As he conveyed his sincere apology, he expressed that he would never undermine any of his industry colleagues.
“What happened on stage is something I didn’t condone and I personally called my team out, I would never do such.
“I parked when you started and stayed in the car, I was personally called by the team when the stage manager said it’s my time to get onto stage, I never leave the car when it’s not my time.”
“Apologies for how the whole thing was handled but I got the full story when we left & by then the damage was done. I would never undermine any artist, we are all colleagues at the end of the day regardless of anything. Apologies 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌻,” he concluded his apology post.
