Johannesburg - SABC 1 made a decision on Friday to pull Generations - The Legacy Omnibus for this week’s viewing due to explicit content that was shown on the episodes.
South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said a complaint was received by the public broadcaster, which prompted the cancellation of the scheduled screening of the popular soapie.
"The channel will replace this week’s episodes by airing the first five episodes of Generations – The Legacy that first went to air on the 1st till the of 5th December 2014, from 11h00 – 13h30," Kganyago said in a statement.
"We would like to assure our viewers that we take their feedback seriously and would like to apologise for any inconvenience or discomfort this week’s episodes may have caused."
