Brussels, Belgium - Right in the wheeltracks of the Lexus LC500 luxury coupé, revealed at the Detroit motor show in January, comes the hybrid LC500h version, which will make its world debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
This daring Lexus coupe is for real
Apart from a cool new blue paint colour the show car looks much the same as the original V8-powered version - but Lexus begs to differ, saying it has a 'multi-stage hybrid powertrain' for "enhanced driving pleasure, more performance and greater efficiency".
Since all hybrid set-ups are by their very nature multi-stage power sources, that doesn't say very much - and neither does Lexus, but if the buzz around the cybergarage is right, expect to see a 230kW, 3.5-litre petrol V6 coupled to a 120kW electric motor for a combined output of 350kW.
More details will be forthcoming in the Lexus presentation at Palexpo on 1 March.
