Standard Bank has established an ATM Claim Centre.

The objectives of centre are: The faster management of ATM claims; a customer contact process; fair and reasonable assessment of all claims; and consistency in decision-making.

Mike Gibbs, the head of customer relations for Standard Bank, says ATM claims will be handled telephonically by consultants, who have been trained to deal with customers who have experienced trauma and loss due to crime.

The bank will follow up with a regular progress report to you. When the claim has been investigated, the findings will be made available to you.

The centre's contacted at phone 0860 10 22 13; fax (011) 636 2911; or email
