Operation Vala Umgodi sees 33 undocumented foreigners, 3 illegal miners arrested in Limpopo

In a significant crackdown, Limpopo police arrested 33 undocumented foreign nationals and 3 illegal miners during Operation Vala Umgodi. The joint SAPS and SANDF operation targeted illegal mining activities in the Mankweng and Giyani areas, with suspects found extracting sand and processing precious minerals. Equipment was confiscated, and the suspects will appear in court soon.
