Johannesburg - The past few months have been a devastating experience for renowned musician Goodwill Malinga, affectionately known as Dr Malinga, whose life took an unexpected turn after his belongings were reportedly repossessed and auctioned by the SA Revenue Services (Sars).

The popular music artist was a guest on the popular and controversial Podcast and Chill with MacG where he shared touching details about losing it all.

Dr Malinga broke down while explaining how his assets were repossessed, revealing he was fine when the popular gossip blogger Musa Khawula broke the news on social media because he thought he could pay what was due to Sars.

This episode was the subject of talks across social media platforms as many people started showing care and support for the musician.

And as a result, some of his fans and renowned artists such as Makhadzi publicly reached out to Dr Malinga, who seemingly needed all the support he could get.

“I would like Dr Malinga to come to perform at my one-woman show. I sent a DM, for sure he did not see it. I really want to support him from the bottom of my heart. Anyone with management contact me please, DM me,” wrote Makhadzi

“I finally reached Dr Malinga. I promise to not exploit him but share the little I have with him. God must bless and protect us. Artists have been going through a lot during Covid-19. We all suffered,” said Makhadzi

Innocent Masuku also reached out to give words of encouragement to the talent.

“Dr Malinga my big brother. I know the pain you are going through. I know the pain of losing and starting over. Please be strong. Everything will pass.”

Masuku has also come out and spoken out about his life's ups and downs. He shared about overcoming drugs and starting with a clean slate.

“I am grateful God gave me a second chance and I am still alive. What I would like is to reconnect with people that I have worked with before. I need opportunities,” shared Masuku.

Dr Malinga recently expressed gratitude to his fans and popular artists such as Black Coffee, Busiswah, Oskido, and Biphakathi for all the support received in the past few days.
