Berlin - Google has expanded its transportation search engine Google Flights to include German Railways connections.
Google announced it is including train rides by the main DB company to let travellers compare air-travel time and cost with train transportation, which if often cheaper and just as fast inside Germany, thanks to high-speed expresses between city centres.
Google Flights had already included schedule and pricing information about train service in Spain and Italy, compiling train connections into the search results just like it does with flights.
