The Jonas Brothers are set to star in a new Christmas comedy film.

Brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas are returning to their Disney roots as they are set to produce and star in a Christmas movie for Disney+, scheduled for the 2025 holiday season.

According to “Variety”, the film has the working title Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie and as per the tagline, will see the pop stars "face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families".

The “Waffle House” hitmakers announced the news in a joint Instagram post with Disney on Tuesday, sharing a comedic video of them re-enacting an iconic “Love Actually” scene and holding large cue cards announcing the project.

"Too early for Christmas? Nah," the caption read. "The Jonas Brothers Christmas movie premières later this year, only on #DisneyPlus!"

The Christmas movie will be directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jessica Yu and written and produced by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

Other producers include the Jonas Brothers, Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan. Singer-songwriter Justin Tranter has signed on as executive music producer and will write original songs for the upcoming project.

Joe, Nick and Kevin have a long history with Disney, having starred in the Disney Channel original movie “Camp Rock” and its sequel. They also led their own Disney Channel series called “Jonas” from 2009 to 2010.

Additionally, the brothers released an album with Disney in 2007, as well as a soundtrack album for their Disney Channel series.
